Why do so many nice guys accept settling for a used old hag who has gotten tired of dating jerks?
We all know that "nice guys"–you know some one who isnt a jerk; who wont pick random fights and have 100 assault charges for fighting, and treat women nicely, finish last because women find them boring, unconfident, equate them as doormats. this is unquestionable observable scientific FACT.

Whats really sad is that on many discusion sites women will say "but the nice guy finishes first in the end; when women want to settle"…WTF kind of a victory do you call getting some 35 yr old cougar with more emotional bagage than an abuse victim? Studies on this issue have also shown that nice gus finish "first" (HA!) in the end; in other words they DO get a woman, but shes a worn out piece of crud. These women on these discussion boards feel that nice gusy should be happy to win in the end, but it makes no sense…look at this way…the jerk gets the girl in her prime; girls from 18-29 usually go for the jerk; this is proven; these girls are at the height of their physical attractiveness, and at their sexual peak; and they are the exclusive "property" of the jerk. THEY are the ones who win. Its like the difference between getting a brand new factory built BMW, while the nice guy ends up with a model with 500,000 miles on it; an older woman, who is probably getting ugly, is loosing her sex drive, and is NEEDY on top of that…and people consider this a good "finish?

Sounds to me that nice guys are screwed either way; even if they can get a girl…what i dont understand is why so many nice guys stand for this? Why dont nice guys tell the women who date jerks to screw off when they come crying to them? is it desperation? I have girl i like who has friendzoned me, and dates a jerk; if she were ever to come to me i would tell her "tough luck" i dont want some used model…id rather die alone…

So why is it that nice guys dont tell these "leftovers" to screw off? thats my question.

You are wrong about one thing. Women from 18 to 29 are not at their peak. Actually older women have a lot going for them peak wise and otherwise. They also can be just as or more attractive as far as I am concerned.

I think you need to take a deep breath and realize that you had your vent and now its time to move on. First of all, I married at 31 and I am NO used up hag. Second, a woman is not in her sexual peak at 18-29. It is actually closer to 35. Third, why did you come on here with all this? Did some woman tick you off? If so, please don’t take it out on the rest of us. Believe it or not, older women are a lot less needy than the younger women, because we have dated for so long and been disappointed so many times that we are used to taking care of ourselves. My question is, why shouldn’t some woman in her 30s or 40s tell you to "screw off" because obviously you don’t appreciate her!

I am sort of excited. I loved the original Willie Wonka and the Chcocolate Factory and thought that the new one would be good but it wasn’t…in fact it was awful. So now Tim Burton is attempting the same thing again. I loved the animated and many other movies Alice in Wonderland so I’m a little apprehensive about his take on the classic. I hope its good and will probably see it. What I don’t get is that Johhny Depp is getting all the attention when the story only involves the Mad Hatter very briefly. Who is playing Alice? Does anyone know or care?

Left4Dead has much better controls and online/multiplayer play, also single player mode is fun too, but the storyline isn’t that great.

Dead Rising has an excellent storyline and is fun, but the controls are much more difficult/frustrating.

If you’re looking for a good 3rd person shooter, go with Left4Dead. But if you’re more into a game with a good storyline, go with Dead Rising.

Personally, I liked Left4Dead.

P.S. Dead Rising will take much longer to complete, if that makes a difference.

It really depends what you are looking for.

Looking for a shooter, fast action, multiplayer, online play, and future DLC, Left 4 Dead is your game.

Looking for free roaming third person, anything is a weapon, no multiplayer, more story, Dead Rising is for you.

I have them both and love em both.

The effects may vary, depending on how much alcohol is in the bottle, but it would technically be the same as if you would be drinking alcohol. It actually happened to a little kid at daycare somewhere, because she used hand sanitizer and then sucked her thumb afterward, and the rest of the day she seemed to be drunk. Eep!

Washington (CNN) — President Obama said Tuesday that U.S. intelligence has had considerable success, but that the botched Christmas Day attack shows "the system has failed" in a major way.
"When a suspected terrorist is able to board a plane with explosives on Christmas Day, the system has failed in a potentially disastrous way," Obama said at the White House in a statement to reporters.
The president used even stronger language in a private meeting in the Situation Room with top aides, a senior administration official said.
"This was a screw-up that could have been disastrous," he said, according to the official. "We dodged a bullet, but just barely."
Tragedy was averted "by brave individuals, not because the system worked, and that is not acceptable. While there will be a tendency for finger pointing, I will not tolerate it," the senior official quoted Obama as saying.
In his public comments, the president said that U.S. intelligence had uncovered numerous "red flags" prior to the attack.
"The U.S. government had sufficient information to have uncovered this plot and potentially disrupt the Christmas Day attack, but our intelligence community failed to connect those dots, which would have placed the suspect on the no-fly list," Obama said.
"In other words, this was not a failure to collect intelligence; it was a failure to integrate and understand the intelligence that we already had," the president said. "The information was there, agencies and analysts who needed it had access to it, and our professionals were trained to look for it and to bring it all together."
Obama said he could accept the imperfect nature of intelligence work, "but it is increasingly clear that intelligence was not fully analyzed or fully leveraged," he said, adding: "That’s not acceptable, and I will not tolerate it."
According to authorities, Nigerian-born Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab tried to detonate explosives hidden in his underwear as a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, made its approach to Detroit, Michigan, on December 25. He faces federal charges.

Critics of the Guantanamo transfers have raised concerns over political instability in Yemen and the presence of al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula, noting that some previous detainees released to Yemen by the Bush administration have renewed their terrorist ties.
Obama repeated an earlier statement by his spokesman that transferring Yemeni detainees at Guantanamo back to Yemen would be halted for now.
"Given the unsettled situation, I’ve spoken to the attorney general and we’ve agreed that we will not be transferring additional detainees back to Yemen at this time," Obama said.

how do you unlock the flamethrower for call of duty world at war before level 65?
ok so im a pretige 2 level 23 and i hate losing the flame thrower when i prestige and i see people at like level 4 or 20 with it so how do i get it

There’s actually a glitch in Call of Duty WaW that allows you to get all the perks before level 65. The way that you do it is by getting a recovering a Live account that is level 65 on your Xbox. Then what you do i load up COD5 with the Level 65 account. So when the game has started what you have to do is go to Multiplayer, then go to Create-A-Class. At this point when you use the Level 65 account the COD5 servers will recognize the account as a level 65 (note: A quick reminder that if you recover an account and play COD4 or COD5 your rankings always get restored without a game-save). Then you go through and you choose what perks you want. After you have chosen all of your perks you do the hotswap method in which you Sign-Out of the Level 65 account and you Sign-In with the account that you want the perk for. When you go to Create-A-Class you’ll notice that the perk has been unlocked.

They have patched it up. But before the patch, you had to have 2 accounts (for 360). Then you had to do something like logging into both on one console and a few other tricks and when you prestiged you would have kept all the unlocks without losing them.

Pelican Brief, The (1993) IMDB rating: 6.30 Plot: Two Supreme Court Justices have been killed. Now a college professor, who clerked for one of the two men, who’s also having an affair with one of his students, is given a brief by her, that states who probably, wanted to see these two men dead. He then gives it to one of his friends, who works for the FBI. When the FBI director reads it, he is fascinated by it. One of the preseident’s men who read it, is afraid that if it ever got out, the president could be smeared. So, he adivises the president to tell the director to drop it, which he does. But later the professor and the girl were out and he was drunk and when he refused to give her the keys she stepped out of the car. When he started it, it blew up. She then discovers that her place has been burglarized and what was taken were her computer and her disks. Obviously, her brief has someone agitated. She then turns to her boyfriend’s friend at the FBI, he agrees to come meet her but before he does someone shoots him and takes his place. At the meeting, he was about to kill her when someone shoots him. She then decides to turn to Gray Grantham, an investigative reporter, who was contacted by someone who says he has info on the killings but backed out at the last minute. He then meets her and tells her what her brief is, and basically, the man she suspects is a good friend of the president, who is trying to manipulate the outcome of a trial that is now before the Supreme Court. Grantham tells her that her brief can harm the president and all what they have are theories, he asks her to help him but she wants to leave the country. When Grantham’s editor tells him that they have nothing that he should drop cause the man she implicated is extremely powerful. Grantham’s about to drop it when she says that she will help him. But can they stay alive?

So recently i’ve gotten tired of comedies and generic action movies… and have been looking for darker, more intellectual, thought-provoking movies. they can be gruesome, but not out-right horror (my stomach’s not there yet. =D)
I’ve seen the godfathers, the prestige, the siege, the pelican brief, the departed, (i think it was called) 13 days, and a beautiful mind. any others?
