Frankenstein thesis introduction paragraph?
"seeking friends the fiend found enemies…seeking hope he found hate…" (Neilson)..I need help discussing this qoute realtive to the theme of isolation and rejection that relates to the character and actions of the creature in the novel. can anyone help i have a few ideas of beginning the introduction but im not sure if its good enough.
well… because the creature was called a "feind" through most of the novel by victor, you could start by saying the creature had good intentions when starting out (at the beginning of his story to victor when he is talking to the old man) but everything turned out wrong because of how he looked. he wanted to be loved and accepted, but because of the way he was treated by the people, he isolated himself and tried to make people love him, like victor. so because the creature was unloved by victor, he tried to force love by telling victor to make him a woman or everyone victor cared about would be gone (simply said). he went mad with the rejection that he felt and he decided that if he could not be loved, victor was not to be loved either.
if you ever need any more help with lit, message me! i’ll be glad to help!
