RELATIONSHIP HELP! I'm Gay and I love my bestfriend! :(?
See, I’m a guy who’s 16 and i dont know whether if I’m gay or bi or what not. I mean, I’ve had a few girlfriends before and I’m still interested with girls, but i do however find some guys attractive too.

So my exbestfriend (who’s a girl) introduced us. After then, we started hanging out every weekend. I mean literally EVERY WEEK. It got to the point where my exbestfriend made me choose between them. I didnt choose cause i love them both. She decided to leave me. I just met him roughly about 3 months. Since my ex bestfriend and him go to the same school, she started hating on him and started being a bitch to him. Since i go to a different school, i cant do anything and i feel bad for my bestfriend.

I just realized I’m in love with my best friend who is straight. What makes the problem worst is the fact that he tells me that i am the only person that makes him happy, and he even says "I love you" to me. Whether or not it means love as a brother, i dont know. One time we had an arguement, i looked him in the eye and told him our friendship was over, that he didnt care for me. He left me because he was upset and I followed cause I was guilty. lol. When I followed him, he cried in front of me. And just to let you know, no one has ever seen him cry. Not even his parents. He told me that he cares about me. I then gave him the biggest hug, then he hugged me back tight. While he was crying, he was saying how "man, you know i care about you.." which made me fall inlove with him more.

I dont think he knows im confused with my gender as we always talk about our day, our girls and make fun of gays (ironic ), Lately, we’ve been getting in arguments alot, because i have trust issues and i test him. Also because I get jealous when he hangs around his girls. (yes. GIRLS. ) and i mean he says that i was the only person that makes him happy, i love him and would never want him to feel anything but that. I do everything to make him happy, I fix his problems and I’d even risk my life for him.

I’m just afraid that if i told him that i love him, that it would be the end of our friendship, something that i won’t be able to live with… Yes i met him 3 months ago but i’ve learned to love him more than I can ever love myself.

He comes off as homophobic, but when he’s hanging with me or when he sleeps over, i play with his hair and tickle him, and he’s fine with it. And when we sleep, sometimes on the same bed, he faces me and sometimes brings himself closer to me which confuses me even more. Sometimes i wonder if he’s awake.

I really don’t know what to do anymore, his friendship means the world to me, but i just fear if i tell him that it would be the end… and my end too.

I stopped talking to my bestfriend (who doesnt know my orintation either) because like you i was falling all over myself to make things happen with him that could never be. i knew my feelings and the reality of the situation were going to collide eventually but i didnt care because i wasnt thinking about the consequences i was only thinking of him… and i got hurt. He did it unintentianally of course…he didnt know how i felt about him; how could he? i felt that he had slapped me in the face. but i figured out quickly that i wasnt mad at him i was mad at me for allowing it to get that far. I decided to end ALL contact with him…which was hard on our group of friends (we have all been friends for years, ever since high school). i didnt call him anymore and he wasnt allowed over my house. I had to move on. and i knew i couldnt do that and still see him all the time. A couple months past and i knew he missed hanging out with me but i couldnt relent.. an old friend came back into town and because of that i let myself be around him. we were drinking that night i was drunk and he wasnt. Now he i someone who doesnt say anything that would have to do with his emotions. NEVER. thats just not who he is. he will never tell you your a great friend or a great person, or that he misses you or ANYTHING like that. Like i said he wasnt drunk and he told me in front of our friends that he was sorry about what happened between us and that it was all a mistake and wasnt our fault but outside forces fault (not true it was because i realized i couldny just be friends with him >>>at least at that point.) and then he said it…those dreaded words. He said u know i love you man. i know he ment it strictly platonic but the fact that he said it made me happy. i knew he must have really been sorry if he said something like that so i forgave him. That was back in september. i know my limits with him now. im not trying to force anything on him like i did before. I was wrong but i found out i would rather have his friendship than not have it because he was a true friend. those are hard to find. Dont say anything. i know it will be hard but u will mess up a good thing. if its what he wants he will find you. You need to make up with your friend from before. You should understand how she feels. Just like when u get jealous of him with other people, she got jealous of you. And you need to not be one of those crazy friends when it comes to your bestfriend who you love. you WILL push him away. you cant be mad and jealous at everything he does. you will smother him and he wont understand why. be happy with what you have. wait.. . if he wants you he knows where to find you but dont hold your breath. trust me. i could tell you a few more stories but this is long enough already. learn from my experince you will only help yourself.

Does your ex best friend (the girl) know you have romantic feelings for this guy? Does she know you had ANY feelings for any guys before? Is there a chance you can mend fences with her? If she knows that about you, maybe she’s mentioned it to him. Do you know any other guys your age that are also gay or bi who you could bring around this guy and then see how he responds to him? As you know, many people who ARE gay talk about how much they may dislike gays because of their own fears. This guy is certainly giving you signs that he could be interested. It has only been 3 months, so just take this friendship slowly, and let him make the first move. If he doesn’t, it is possible that he really does love you just like a brother and has no romantic feelings for you. I know that isn’t what you want to hear, but it is best that you keep being who you are but let HIM take the lead. Good luck!

i can see why you’re very confused and wondering all this stuff about him.
i can’t tell whether if he’s talking about "bromance" or "romance" when he says he loves you. and crying in front of you, that says a lot too.
also, not to hurt your feelings or anything, but he could also be very attached to you and think of you as his best friend only, he maybe trusts you a lot and that’s why he might do certain stuff like crying for you and telling you he loves you, because then again you said he is a homophobic and straight. who knows, maybe he’s hiding in the closet and isn’t ready to come out. if i were you i’d try to get his trust all the way in order to figure out if he’s straight like he says so. maybe he just picks on gay people because he wants to deny he’s gay (if he is).
i don’t know what else to say, i wouldn’t recommend you to tell him yet since you’ve only known him for 3 months and the friendship could easily fall apart.
i mean, if you told him how you felt too soon and he turns out to be straight, he’s going to react the same way i did when my ex-friend who’s bi told me how he really felt about me. ever since then he hasn’t spoken a word to me because i turned him down. i didn’t feel too comfortable around him anymore. i didn’t mind that he was attracted to guys, but that he was attracted to me.

i would tell him exactly how you feel about him. and ask him how he feels about you. who knows he might be bisexual but he says he is straight to keep his other friends from knowing. just tell him exactly what your feelings are, just bring up the question like "Hey (his name) i wanted to ask you something, what are your personal feelings towards me?" i’ve done that and it has worked. i just hope he is the one for you

DON’T TELL HIM!!!! Honestly, I did this with a best friend of mine and it RUINED our friendship. She told me she loved me all the time, fell asleep in my arms, let me kiss her forehead and cheeks. Told me she trusted more than anyone and we use to hold each other for long periods and just gaze into each others eyes - like right corny stuff…and so i was like "She definitely feels the same way" but it turns out she didn’t at all. In fact, she ended the friendship for three months. We’re friends now but thing have not been the same at all. We barely hug now and she doesn’t show the same emotions with me or stare me in the eyes. My heart was utterly broken.

Is our marriage worth saving?
First, a little background history: My wife and I started young. We were engaged young, married young, and started our family young. And despite the odds and the nasty comments from relatives, we managed to not "end up in a trailer home" (in quotes because this was one of the aforementioned comments from a relative. We did good for ourselves. We bought our first home, started our own business and then because of the business, sold our first home and moved into a bigger one that had space for our business.

Well, the economy took a crap and so did our business. Then we were stuck in a too-big home with a too-big mortgage that the business was no longer paying half of. So I got a weekend job. It was hard at first, but we managed. Then I began hating my full-time job. I’m miserable there. So I applied to a college and began attending classes every weeknight in the evenings so that I can get into a career I love. It’s been about three years since that decision. Well, my wife is miserable. She is a stay-at-home mom who is also attending school full-time, but everything of hers is online so it doesn’t interfere with her being home with the kids. In the beginning, she was in full support of my going back to school but now she makes comments sometimes like when I have to study and she wants to plan a family thing…"of course you have to study, etc." She says things like she’s tired of being the one waiting at home for the other. She’s tired of when she’s had a terrible day with the kids that she doesn’t have a partner who comes home in the evening so she can get out and re-coup. She hates that the boys are being jipped out of a family dinner each night. She also says that me being gone all the time is affecting how she mothers, her patience is wearing thinner and she’s constantly stressed out because there’s no start and end to her "workday." Then we fight because I ask her how she thinks I feel…I’m working full-time, going to school and then working another 12 hours over the weekend. I tell her to wait it out, that our situation will get better but she says by then she’s afraid she’ll have too much resentment. We’re trying to sell our house. I’ll be graduating in a year. She is almost finished with school. But I can’t get her to see that it will all be coming to an end soon. She always uses the line "what if I’m dead by then?" (she started using this line after her friend was killed in a car accident about 9 months ago.) She says when the house sells, we should go our separate ways, but I can’t see how that could be better than our current situation. What can I do? Are we past saving? When it’s good, it’s reallllly good but then she gets into moods where she just resents everything I do. I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to lose her but I can’t change our situation.

It sounds like your just going into different directions in life. Sometimes that happens, even in the happiest of marriages. If you can both agree to go to marriage counseling, try that. But if she is not willing to work out the problems, then it’s not worth saving.

When you have a cold and your mucus come with blood does that mean Neomonia?

It really sounds like an upper respiratory infection. The blood is probably from the lining of your throat as you cough. You will need to get on antibiotics soon. It usually doesn’t go away on it’s own.

You should go to the doctor just to make sure it’s not pneumonia or some other problem requiring medication or other kind of treatment. You don’t mention difficulty breathing, but rather chest pain. Have you been coughing a lot? In the absence of asthma or even coughing up green or yellow mucus I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with you, but what I’m guessing may be one of the problems is the extreme lack of humidity. When people use heaters to stay warm, it sucks the humidity out of the air and causes the mucous membranes in your nasal cavity to dry out - and then possibly bleed.

Ask your doctor about gentle salt water nasal sprays and humidifiers, and if they might help you. I hope you feel better soon.

can't Understand This GIRL's Mind?
We’ve been dating for a couple months now… but not "official" boyfriend/girlfriend status.

She emails me everyday, just cute little notes… and she calls me, jokes around with me.. and we’ve been going out a few times a week.

So tonight I tried to figure out where we stand… and to maybe make us official… and she said she has doubts and has a feeling that it might not be right. She started crying and said we should probably date other people to figure out what we want. I’m graduating in 2 months and she still has a couple semesters left.

Anyway, after the talk… I took her on campus and played the piano for her and sang to her… we laughed and joked around.. and it was just like before she even said anything… good.. fun… loving and stuff.

But when i walked her home she cried again, and said, you always say the things that I’m thinking, it’s amazing.

At her door she told me how much she cares about me and how great I am… and said… I hope you don’t just completely leave me… she cried again… and I gave her a big hug and said you are such an amazing person… she said, you shouldn’t say that, … and then she cried harder and said.. you should be mad at me right now… and i just ran my hand through her hair and said, I’ll never be mad at you. I told her she means so much to me that if she figures things out, I’ll be there for her.. and i went home.

What is she thinking/wanting/trying to say? I’m so lost.

unless she’s just really and truly scared to open up to you all the way and then you hurt her. thats usually the case with us girls.
as it seems that you’ve tried a lot to get her to talk to you.
just keep on trying with her. but to see if she truly cares, i suggest going ‘M.I.A’ for awhile. not get in touch with her first, to see if she tries with you or to see if she cares. she might take it the wrong way and think you dont want her anymore.

I really hate to say this but, it sounds like she is trying to tell you something but she can’t, & not something good.. i mean girls don’t just cry so much like that on a date in general unless they have problems, i think she.. might of done something with another guy, she might be upset because she thinks you will be mad and she probably isn’t sure if she actually likes the other guy, she probably is worried if she tells you (depending on what happened) you might leave her, … hope this helps,

Just keep doing what you’re doing. She’s thinking a lot of things, a lot of scenarios playing out, and yes some are with you. She’s scared because you’re leaving school soon. She’s scared because she doesn’t have long herself (and maybe is moving?). She scared because she knows these things and didn’t want to get too involved but she let you in despite her efforts not to. Now she doesn’t know what she wants (or she does and doesn’t want to admit it to you or to herself). Just keep doing what you’re doing, tell her you care, you want her, but remind her you’re leaving and hope she can make up her mind by then because you are a pretty great guy and you want to work on the relationship stage of your life next.

What is a fuel cut off switch and do I need to reset it?
I have a manual Ford Escort 93 3-door and when I filled up my tank and tried to start my car the "Fuel cut out" light went on as the car struggled to start. When I tried to start it again about 30 minutes later it won’t start. Battery seems fine. Is this possibly a fuel pump issue? Should I do something with the fuel cut off switch? Also what is a fuel door? Thanks!

Generally that switch doesnt trip unless a car has been in a wreck. It is used to cut off fuel to the engine to help prevent fire in case of a serious accident. Have you been in a wreck recently? It is possible for it to malfunction on its own and trip itself i suppose, but anyways there should be a hidden door somewhere in your trunk with a small button that says fuel cut off switch. Press it. If that doesnt help you probably have a bad fuel pump.

fuel door is just where you pump the gas on to the car.(where u put the whose i thru.) Yes you have to reset the cut-off switch. if it keeps happening then you have something wrong with your pump or anywhere in the fuel system

my gay best friend kissed me :|?
He hasn’t officially ‘come out’ yet, but had told me a few month ago that he was gay. (we are both 14 btw)
I really don’t care that he is, and things never changed between us, we were still thick as thieves and there was no awkwardness or anything.
But a few month ago he started acting a little strange around me, like, getting nervous and avoiding eye contact with me. I tried to ignore it.
And two nights ago we were alone in his room and sitting beside each other on his bed watching TV.
(also, we are really close, and have known each other our whole lives. Grew up in the same foster home and our foster parents live in the same apartment building lol) I had to go home because it was pretty late, and i turned to him and said goodbye and was about to get up when he said "wait"
and held my arm. So i sat there. I thought something was wrong cuz he was looking at my kind of strange, and then he gave me a peck on the lips.

Yeah, i was pretty shocked, and i could see him like, realizing what he had done, and he just started apologizing/babbling, and seemed to get really embarrassed.

Anyway, i left and its been really weird between us ever since.

I actually tried talking to him, but he quickly avoids me, and looks guilty…or maybe just sad idk, and goes somewhere else.

This is a really difficult situation. My biggest fear is that our friendship will end, or change drastically and i dont want it to. I’m sure he feels horribly embarrassed, and i guess he has like a crush on me or something…
He knows i am straight too.

Can anyone give any advice on how to approach him and resolve the situation? I just want to tell him its ok and i just want to be his friend, and whatever process he is going through (if their is a process XD I really dont know but i know it cant be easy discovering your gay and being afraid of ridiculed, which i would NEVE do to him): he alway has me to lean on.

I really dont know what to do…i feel if i do nothing the problem will just get bigger, and we will have this awkwardness hanging over us.
