My mum says I am like my gran (=mean, grumpy, arrogant…)?
I am 15. My mum often makes remarks that I am a lot like my grandmother. My grandmother is grumpy, arogant, mean, horrible, ugly and easily offended. I am not like this at all but my mum likes to make these remarks. It seems like she thinks they make her look cleverer or like she has more authority. She doesnt! If she says something which I think is unfair or something similar, she says it to me. This just makes me even more upset. What is worse, today we had guests round and they were talking about me and my brother (I hate it when adults discuss me). To make herself seem more intelligent she said I am a lot like my grandmother. That was even worse! I felt really bad. What should I do? I have told her it hurts my feelings, she just kind of said ‘Well, it is true!’. It is clearly not the truth and we both know it!

Is this a safe combination of supplements?
I’m taking hydroxycut hardcore, mega mens multivitamin, L-glutamine, and whey protein.
Before I get a bunch of answers about how bad hydroxycut is.. save your breath. I did plenty of research and know the side effects and risks of it. However, I know since the hycu haco can cause liver problems.. my concern is weather taking all of these supplements will add to any risks involving my liver. Used to be a heavy drinker for like 4 years, now only drinking lightly one night a week, if any.. and I’m not taking these along with anything with acetaminophen.
Other info.. 21 y/o male 250, and all supplements are being taken along with a healthy diet and steady excersize with a personal trainer. Not looking for personal opinions on using supplements, just if this combination is safe if taken correctly.

of the ones I’ve seen, the ones I have a problem with even being nominated:

Johnny Depp for Finding Neverland–love him as an actor, but that movie wasn’t that great, and his performance, though good, was still one of his least impressive.

Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan–again, a good, solid performance, but not outstanding.

Russell Crowe’s performance in Gladiator wasn’t so much because it was difficult as it showed raw star power. His win was more about the difference between that role and his much more impressive turn in The Insider. There are a lot of these performances that are more about star power and charisma than they are about any real stretch as an actor (in particular Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman)

Kevin Costner for Dances With Wolves–great, epic movie. great direction (though a bit long). but just okay acting.

Nearly all of them didn’t even deserve to be nominated by my definitions.
Awards are for Shakespeare-trained actors–with above-average voices, high intelligence and neutral accents. They’re the real professionals.
They’re the only ones who can adequately play officers, above sergeant rank,
successful professionals, and in the past and future in sci-fi or historical films.

Instead of rewarding professionals, people only good enough for folk-accent movies are constantly being allowed to play roles they scientifically can’t possible succeed in and even being handed awards for them.
Also, since actors get better with age, the way old wine does, actors over 45 most often act from within and younger actors just play themselves usually. So they are better.

From your list, for instance, in 1995, Sean Penn was miles above the other two; and in 1979 none of the three deserved to be nominated. With the ladies, the bias against professionalism is even clearer. Thank you for asking.

Xbox 360 rapid fire mod question?
So, I just made a rapid fire controller, and when I push my button its as if I clicked the right trigger one time. You push the button once, it does it action 1 time. Someone was saying instead of soldering to the LED to do it to the left ruble pack area. anyone know if this works better?

I’m guessing you have one of the newer controller boards that don’t use pulse width modulation and it can not use the led pwm rapid fire mod. I doubt the rumble motor would provide rapid fire, there’s only one type of controller you can do this with.

The board should look like this, or the led pwm rapid fire mod will not work.

What you should do is actually buy a rapid fire controller mod that uses it’s own ic to control rapid fire. The only rapid fire controller mod i’ve ever attempted is the intensafire and it works perfectly. Easy to install and easy to operate and is a complete stealth mod.

Can you give me advice on my cat please?
My cat is 13 years old. In the summer he goes thin as a rake and is ravenous all the time. In the winter he looks better but is still always hungry. He permanently has a puffy anal ring. I finally managed to see some of his poo today, as he’s very much an outdoors cat, and it looks like blended cat food (not runny, but not solid either). He abhors going to the vet and I don’t want to put him through him it unless I have to.

Does anyone have any ideas?

My parents cat had much the same problem. He was 15 at the time, and always outside.
He needs to go to the vet.
It might be as simple as the wrong food, or more serious requiring medication.
My parents kitty - I cannot remember what the name of the problem was (it was 6 years ago!) but Beau needed meds, and he was better after that. When he finally passed last fall he was a healthy weight.

Sounds like a bad case of worms, you can buy worming treatments in any pet shop. The longer they are left, the larger the lasting impact on the cats health so get him treated as soon as possible.

If it isnt worms then he could have any number of intestinal or stomach complaints which would definately need a vets treatment.

Having a sore bum will be really uncomfortable for him, and he could be suffering from spasms too so maybe try a worming treatment and if that doesnt work then he will need to see a vet.

Check his teeth and mouth for sores and missing teeth too as this can be a sign on kidney failure which is fatal and causes weightloss.

You could start by taking a fecal sample to the vet and asking them to test it for worms and bacteria. The cat doesn’t need to be present if you get a sufficient sample. Cats can get bacterial infections from drinking from infected water. We took in a stray that had loose stools and was skinny and he had three different bacteria, but no worms thankfully.

You should never try over the counter wormers. One, they aren’t effective and, two, the prescriptions are inexpensive. If the stool sample shows worms, the vet will send you home with a dewormer anyway. And it will save your cat a trip in. Hopefully, it is something as easy as worms. It could be a tapeworm as well, which would explain the thinness since he’s outdoors and probably picks up fleas now and again. Tapeworm will make your cat very hungry because anything the cat consumes is being eaten by the tapeworm and the cat stays hungry. The vet can diagnose that from a stool sample as well.

Can you help me with this currency related question about global exchange?
Ok lets say i want to move away to a new country for a while.

Here is an example:

I get paid, say, 10 british pounds per hour. The economy here is somewhat ballanced so a beer will cost me around 2-4 pounds of that hourly pay. However, if i work for an hour here and then goto Prague, a beer costs 1 british pound.

Now, 1 british pound for a beer to a Prague person might seem about the usual but to me, it seems very cheap!

Id like to save 10k and then move anywhere in the world for a year and just take it easy and write a new physics engine on my laptop. If i move to a new york apartment, then obviously, ill be paying closer to 400-1000 great british pounds per month so this wont work well. If i goto a small African town, i might be able to rent a place for 200 british pounds a month so this will mean i have a long perioud of quiet time without the risk of money worries.

Does anyone know what term i can google to find what i am looking for? Is what i am talking about related to GDP? Is it simply a case of saying "i have a fairly strong GDP, lets move to the weakest GDP" (obviously unless there was a war there!)

Looks to me like it has Arabian blood in it. It’s gotta have some arab in there somewhere — the head shows the Arab in the horse. My guess is that it’s either an Arabian or an Arabian crossbreed.
