cat has growling stomach? Worms?
My son’s cat is 5 yrs old. The last several months his stomach has been making very loud growling noises. I can hear it from across the room. The last 3 days, he started to have very bad gas. Snowballs eyes just look like he doesn’t feel good, and sometimes his stomach is bulged to the one side. Could it be worms? About 6 months ago, my son said he found a hair ball or diarrhea with 3 round stomach worms. I bought Hartz De-worming med for him, but my son said it won’t kill the round worms. My neighbor said if I give it the wrong Dewormer, it can kill the cat, so I haven’t given it to him. My son doesn’t have the money to take him to the vet for another two weeks, any suggestions of what it might be or natural remedy that might help?
go to your local feed and seed and ask them what kind of dewormer they have. also try petco or petsmart. take this cat to the vet as soon as you possibly can.

call the vet you maybe able to bring in a poop sample and get wormer if he is up to date on visits. wormer killing the cat is if you give dog wormer, but double check. check the little box and make sure his poop looks normal size to what the cat always does. the cat could be plugged up from a hair ball or a string of some sort. both can be deadly.our one cat we would give 2cc of prune juice to help w/ hair balls.powdered fiber mixed in can food works too. the gas is either a change in food, cat had some milk or he’s backed up and that’s why it stinks so bad. no matter what make sure the poop looks normal. should have a pile once a day. no poop and vomit means blockage most of the time. go to the vet asap and don’t wait till a week end the ER is pricey
