What's this film I watched Years ago? Please help! I am desperate!?
Ok Hi!
When I was about 11 I always watched this film where this girl gets pulled into her television by a scary man wearing a black hat and clothes, then her older brother jumps in to get her back and he has to go through all the channels; meeting different characters.
The plot goes like this;
Boy has to babysit his little sister, so goes out to buy a film, and buys the freakiest looking one with no name.
When he goes to answer the phone, the man in the tv entices his sister closer and yanks her inside, so her brother comes back in and climbs in (i think the tv turned fuzzy).
Then the rest of the film is the boy looking for his sister through all the channels, and he eventually finds the freaky mans castle which is full of colour (when the land outside is black+white).
The boy discovers the mans evil plan to gain more colour by draining it from his sisters eyes using his new machine, and the boy searches through the castle in different doors, eventually stealing her back from the evil man.
I’m desperate to watch it again!!! So If you have any idea I would be SOOOOO VERY very grateful ;)))
Some points you need to know:
It is not: Pleasantville, Stay Tuned, Poltergeist
It wasn’t a cartoon, and was all set in colour real-world
Unfortunately, I think the chances of you finding this film again are slim to none. I know I’ve had my own struggles with trying to find movies or songs that I could recall from my childhood, and with rare success. However, if you are really committed to finding this movie, I suggest perusing through the horror films listed by Wikipedia and seeing if anything rings a bell.
