 Spider Woman, The (1944)

Plot: Alarmed by a series of baffling suicides of prominent gamblers popularly dubbed “The Pajama Murders” by the newspapers, Holmes fakes his own death and assumes the identity of Rajni Singh, a retired Indian military man with a paralyzed arm. After losing a large sum in a casino and writing a bad check to cover his losses, he appears to try to take his own life. He is prevented by the mysterious and sophisticated Andrea Spedding with an offer of a loan with his life insurance policy as collateral. Shortly thereafter, there is an attempt on his life with a rare but deadly spider with the only other clue a child’s footprint. A resurfaced Holmes consults arachniolgists in an effort to solve the mystery.

Out of all these movies, I love Chicago and Who Framed Roger Rabbit the most.
I love Chicago for the whole style of the movie: I love the plot, and Zellweger is amazing! I also love how the songs are all semi-dream sequences, and overall it is a very creative and nicely done movie.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is hilarious, and it combines live action with animation. The character of Roger is a classic, and his wife, Jessica, is the sexiest thing Disney has ever done. The murder mystery plot is done very well. It is my favorite Disney movie of all time!

Spirited Away is also amazing, but I haven’t seen it in a while, so I don’t remember too much about it… all I remember is the plot is nicely done.
Juno is also supposed to be good (didn’t it win movie of the year?), but I’ve never seen it. I would also check out Sweeny Todd.

La Vie En Rose- Beautiful biographical movie.
Raging Bull- A classic, seriously one of the best movies ever.
Spirited Away- Best Hayo Myiazaki movie.
Cuckoo’s nest- Jack Nicholson’s best role.
The Color Purple- good movie.
Cold Mountain- good movie.
Big Fish- Beautifully scenery work and a solid performance by Ewan McGregor.
The Others- Only Nicole Kidman movie I like.
Corpse Bride- A really underrated Tim Burton movie.
Jersey Girl- good movie.
Walk The Line- Bio on one of my favourite singers.
Out Of Africa- classic movie is classic.

The Silence of the Lambs -> Anthony Hopkins is the best!
Juno -> Really fun, and different from normal chick flicks. And awesome weird music! Just a feel good movie.
Sweeney Todd -> Johnny Depp is amazing in this movie! So is Helena Bonham Carter. They’re two of my favourite actors.
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest -> Total classic, amazing movie!
Corpse Bride -> Tim Burton is brilliant, he never dissapoints.

The Silence of the Lambs - it’s the best! Very mysterious and it keep you in tension from the beginning to the end. It is really good movie.
