drug survey……………?
1) do you think illegal drugs should stay illegal?
2) if you had to choose 3 drugs to legalize what would they be?
3) if you think they should stay illegal, do you think alcohol should be made illegalas well? (keep in mind that alcohol would be a class A drug if discovered today and a lot of illegal drugs are actually safer than alcohol)
4) do you see the point in anti-drug campaigns?
5) in my opinion if alcohol is legal they should legalize the use of other drugs, with the exception of things that can cause sudden death (gas, heroin etc) and sell it legal have it taxed etc so if people are guna do drugs anyway they can at least buy it safely without wondering what dodgy crap is in it. and then instead of wasting money on pointless anti-drug campaigns they could put the money to better use, like extra money for hospitals or whatever. do you agree with my opinion or disagree?
im not for or against drugs, but theres no way to completely stop drug use so i dont see the point wasting time and money and police resources trying to stop it
no, most drugs today DONT cause sudden death! yeh they can if you have an underlying medical condition but if you do alcohol is just as dangerous!
you hear about people dying the first time they take ecstasy but ecstasy didnt kill them, stupidity did when they decide to drink ridiculous amounts of water and drinking that amount of water at once can kill you whether youre on drugs or not!
and other times it seems like a drug caused sudden death- again, NOT the drugs! its the dodgy crap mixed in with it, which is why i think they should make it legal so they can regulate drugs and therefore make them, safer
flip me over- youre absolutely right! i dont know the number of wweed related deaths a year (cant imagine its more than one though lol) but i do know on average 2-3 people die from ecstasy each year but theres thousands (or possible even more than that) of alcohol related deaths
yeh i know banning alcohol wouldnt be easy but dont forget drugs werent always illegal! banning alcohol would result in people making it themselves and selling it illegally, so it would be stupid, but thats my point-trying to ban something which will never go away just makes things worse
1) yes
2) i dont do drugs, thus idc

1 yes
2 none
3 no because when you drink it like you are SUPPOSED to, it won’t be as harmful in the long run.
4 yes, they save lives
5 no they shouldn’t, because almost every drug that’s illegal today can cause a sudden death.
the money they would save from stopping the anti-drug campaigning would go towards hospitals… to save all the people that are dying from drugs. so are you saying by making drugs legal, the drug wars are going to stop? that people are going to be responsible and not steal and kill people? yeah, right…

yes. with the exception of marijuana
marijuana, and everything else is 2 crazy
Yes alcohol should be illegal.
yes. there are some frightening drugs out there
In some ways yes, others no. Alcohol to me is definetly a drug and should be illegal if everything else is. I think upper drugs are more dangerous than downers because people on uppers tend to do more crazy things than people on downers. Drugs that tend to make people do things to harm other people should not be legalized. The only drug i can think of that does not make you do harmful things to others is marijuana. your only hurting yourself if you consume it.

1) no
2) weed, shrooms and MDMA
3) i think there are far more alcohol related deaths per year than pot related deaths…no…i know that
4) I understand that people don’t want kids to be lazy bums that do nothing but get high all day…but there are many successful business people who smoke a bowl to unwind from their stressful 6 figure jobs
5) i agree with your opinions….regulating pot would save our economy and even though smoking it may result in lung cancer possibly..so does pollution and cigarettes…they are EVERYWHERE…its the persons chioce and it is a natural plant

1) No not all drugs should stay legal. For example weed should be legalized.
2)Weed, coke, and ecstasy
3)No neither of them should be illegal. Weed makes everything better and more entertaining. smoking 20 joints in a row is safer then drinking 20 beers in a row. People do not choke on their vomit in their sleep because of weed.
4)Yes. To keep kids away from having fun.
5)They should legalize weed. But you should have to be 18 or older to buy it.

1)I think most drugs should be legal
2)Cannabis, ecstacy, cocaine, heroin
4) If they are good campaigns, which they are not.
I would make thses drugs available at chemists, cheap enough to make importation unprofitable. And I’d make it illegal to inject, but not inhale heroin.
and I’d make it entirely the users liability if the quality of the product kills them. and no obligation on the health service to treat them on drug related incidents and emergencys. You get high at your own responsibility.

1. NO
2. marijuana, cocaine, painkillers
3. NO
4. Some are good, others are useless
5. Do not completely agree, some drugs make you crazy and we do not need a lot of crazy people around. The tax money would be nice, the money from no anti-drug campaigns would be nice, and the money not spent on law enforcement would be nice, but you would have to open many drug rehab centers.

1) Yes, except Marijuana.
2) Marijuana, Marijuana, and Marijuana. ;}
3) Alcohol should be illegal because it’s really bad.
4) Some, Not all of them.
5) Completely agree. It is stupid to sell something that harms and kills people as a provin fact and yet weed is still illegal.
We live in a fcked up world where the good is bad and the bad is good.
Weed has never harmed nor killed ANYBODY in the world and yet it is still considered an illegal substance while many die each day by smoking ciggarettes and alcohol, and yet it is still legal.
Like i said,
Fcked up world we live in…

well i do believe certain drugs have good reason to be illegal and should stay illegal. however, if i had to choose 2 other drugs to legalize, besides marijuana (of course), i would probably go with acid and shrooms. why? because neither of the two permanently alter or damage the human brain, and people RARELY EVER actually get addicted to these, not to mention that it takes a fairly small amount to get the desired affects.
and marijuana? looking at its affects on the brain and body, it think it might be one of the most misunderstood drugs around. its a hell of a lot less harmful biologically than most people think and pretty much harmless neurologically. im all for legalization on that one. people who are against its legalization should stop being so ignorant towards the actual neurological and biological affects of the drug instead of using dumb, bias-tainted arguments like "its a gateway drug". i mean if that was the case then we should all stop drinking apple juice because it’ll most likely lead to alcoholism..right? lol
As for alcohol, it would be pointless to make illegal. firstly, it has been legal for too long and since it’s something our culture accepts, it wouldnt really impact my life too much but im sure a very high percentage of people in this country simply wouldnt allow it. but from my perspective, alcohol can be a safe drug that people can enjoy and is even known to be healthy to the human body if drunk responsibly (1 or 2 drinks a day lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol and increases HDL "good" cholesterol). so in other words, it decreases risk of heart disease. its a shame that it is so widely abused.
i think anti-drug campaigns arent put out there to persuade those already using the drugs to turn their lives around as much as they are to keep those who havent used anything scared. i think they are just meant to show that society doesnt accept it and its looked down upon; and i think theyre stupid.
i completely agree with your opinion but i highly doubt anything like that will happen anytime soon. a large portion of our society does not accept drugs like weed because that is what they were taught. because they grew up being told that it is dangerous and bad or whatever not because it actually is. its almost as if their brains were fixed when they were young, before they knew the difference.
…btw, i think you meant schedule I narcotic instead of "class A drug"
